New Raven Anhydrous Application System Increases Capacity and Application Window for Growers and Custom Applicators

Sioux Falls, SD (February 4, 2014) –Raven Industries (NASDAQ: RAVN) Applied Technology Division is excited to introduce the revolutionary AccuFlow™ Vortex system, the newest and most accurate NH3 delivery system in an industry-leading lineup of application controls. The AccuFlow Vortex is a first-of-its-kind anhydrous ammonia application system that has increased capacity within a single cooler, which maximizes applicator time and creates a smaller footprint on the toolbar. Raven application control products are ISObus compatible, giving customers additional control options while reducing cab clutter.

“Application control is at the core of what we do, and our customers are calling for higher speeds, longer application windows, and larger toolbars when applying anhydrous. The AccuFlow Vortex meets these needs by allowing growers and custom applicators to apply more anhydrous at faster speeds and colder temperatures, with less weight on the toolbar. The system also comes pre-assembled, saving applicators even more time. The Vortex makes an already short application window that much more manageable,” says Matt Burkhart, vice president and general manager of Raven’s Applied Technology Division.

In addition, Raven is introducing their new AccuFlow HP+ system, which includes the Vortex cooler and a dynamically controlled pump for even greater capacity and precise application. AccuFlow Vortex will be featured at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, KY and at other upcoming tradeshows. The system will be available for purchase in early March of 2014. New Matrix® Pro with Exclusive Guidance Over Video TeeJet Technologies Introduces Matrix® Pro with RealView™ Guidance Over Video

SPRINGFIELD, IL, USA (Jan. 7, 2011) - The Matrix Pro Guidance System offers growers TeeJet Technologies' exclusive RealView™ Guidance over Video along with several new productivity-enhancing features.

The Matrix guidance system is the only system available that displays guidance and live video simultaneously, improving accuracy and efficiency in field operations. Up to eight RealView cameras can be used to monitor multiple machine operations while at the same time viewing guidance information. Growers can choose Matrix Pro 570 with a 5.7" (145 mm) display or Matrix Pro 840 with an 8.4" (213 mm) display.

Matrix Pro, the next generation of Matrix, adds many new capabilities to the system. Matrix Pro helps growers save time by storing multiple field boundaries and multiple guidelines for use in future operations. Two-way data transfer allows uploading and downloading of job data, boundaries, no spray zones, AB lines and more. Matrix Pro's unique NextRow feature guides operators through turns in row crop environments, helping them find the correct rows to steer between for the next pass. An enhanced user interface is also part of Matrix Pro ensuring easy, intuitive operation.

Matrix Pro is auto steer and automatic boom section control (ABSC) ready. Adding FieldPilot®, TeeJet's hydraulic auto-steer system, can be accomplished in about half a day and for a cost considerably less than competitive steering systems. Adding BoomPilot® ABSC is economical and easy as well. In just a few minutes, growers can experience automatic control of up to 15 boom sections and reduce chemical consumption. Matrix Pro is able to multi-task so auto-steer, section control and RealView monitoring can be used in unison.

"Matrix Pro multi-tasks with ease so you can operate all your systems simultaneously," says Rich Gould, vice president and guidance business manager at TeeJet Technologies. "Plus, all the new features of Matrix Pro add to the user's productivity without complicating operation or adding cost. Matrix Pro is a real value."
